Like 0 Dislike 0 Hi, my husband and his mother own our home jointly, both of their names are on the deed we are wanting to remove his mothers name from the deed and add mine. we are also still paying on the morgage. is a quitclaim deed form the way for us to go. and since the loan is in both names will that effect us also?

This will make you the owner of the property.
