My husband just recently passed away. He owned a home in Tennessee which was titled with his name only, but we moved to Illinois because of his illness and never got the opportunity to make the change, how do I go about getting the title in my name in the event I want to sell?

Welcome wyattsylvia,

You will have to file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office and get the property transferred in your name. This will make you the owner of the property and you'll be able to sell it off.
