Hi, my husband and I purchased a house few years ago. I am the only one on the note, both on the title. The house is in foreclosure now due to a possible divorce. Can we sign a quick claim deed to take him off the title even if the house is in foreclosure?

Hi Gloria!

Welcome to forums!

Your husband can sign a quitclaim deed and remove his name from the property deed. However, it will be better if you could contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion before taking any decision as the property is already in foreclosure.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
