Second wife, my husband Quitclaimed TX homestead propertyu to me 12/2005. He died 11/2009. Can MERP claim on this property? Does it need probated?

Welcome acehedger,

Your husband had already quitclaimed the property to you and I hope you had recorded the deed in your name. In such a situation, I don't think MERP would place a claim on this property.
