Hello,
I am currently married and am deed only on our home. I am not on the loan at all. I would like to have my name taken off the deed and want no responsibilities or ties to this home for personal reasons. How and what can I do to handle this matter? Can I do a quit claim deed to take care of this matter? Please Advise.

Thank you,

Paulette

Hi Misscalette,

You can sign a quitclaim deed and transfer the property to someone else. This will help you in removing your name from the property deed and you won't remain responsible for the property in any way.

Thanks
