I was wondering if you can quick claim property to be able to get Medicaid

Hi abba,

If you have property and if you quitclaim it to someone else, then you may not be able to qualify for Medicaid benefits for the next 5 years. However, if someone quitclaims a property to you and you become the owner of it, then you can easily qualify for Medicaid.
