My condo association wants me to sign a quit claim deed. I had filed/discharged Chapter 7 bankruptcy and included my condo. My condo still under the forclosure procedings. What would a claim deed do for them since my property has a lien with Bank of America??

Hi Xio,

If you sign a quitclaim deed and transfer the property to the condo association, then they will become the owner of the property. So, before you transfer the property, you should take the opinion of your bankruptcy attorney and a real estate attorney.

Thanks
