As a follow-up question to the one abou an ex-pres. quitclaiming her property after embezzling money. This is what our ex-pres. did, as well. WE have received a judgment against her in our civil case, but she gifted her condo to her son a couple of months before the judgment was handed down. What is our next step in getting this condo as part of our settlement against her? Clearly, she did this to protect her major asset.

Welcome Boodles,

You will have to speak to a real estate attorney who will in turn help you in getting the property transferred in your name. As you've received the judgment in your favor, I guess you need to ask the present owner to transfer the property to you.

Thanks
