My husband and i are divorced as of oct 4th of this year his name is still on the loan for our house i have the papers for the quick clm but have not had him sign them is it too late to have this done? he has no interest in the home and it was in our divorce decree that i am assuming all responsibilities of the home.
Do i need to contact my lawyer? mortagage guy?
Please help...

You should immediately make him sign the property deed and get the property transferred in your name. This will make you the owner of the property. In order to do so, you can take the help of a real estate attorney. After that, you need to contact your lender and get the mortgage refinanced in your name.
