Through a qickclaim deed my daughter and her husband released their share of a property that was owned jointly by them and me. In return, I established a Revocable Trust, (with their released share), to their 3 children. However, my daughter and her husband still remain on the title.

How can I get them off the title and can I revoke the trust in order to own the entire property myself since the burden of the bills, (Taxes, etc.) and upkeep have been solely on me. The children are 8yrs. ; 11yrs. ; and 14yrs.

Hi Daffney,

You have mentioned that through a quitclaim deed, your daughter and her husband released their share of a property that was owned jointly by them. In such a situation, their name shouldn't remain on the property deed. Nevertheless, you can contact a real estate attorney and he will help you in getting the property transferred solely in your name. You will be able to revoke the trust. In such a situation, you will have to contact your attorney and take his help in this matter.

Thanks
