in process of bankruptcy, i have an investment property, my name is on the mortgage, but no on the deed. The deed is on my Son's name, no the mortgage... I need to remove his name from the deed? would his credit score be affected? how long would this process take?

Hi Guest,

You can ask your son to sign a quitclaim deed and transfer the property to you. This will make you the owner of the property. Transferring a property to you won't affect your son's credit score in any way.
