I feel like if anything were to happen to me, he would lose all of his investment. What is the best way to cover his losses?

You can add your boyfriend on your property deed. You can use a quitclaim deed in order to add his name to the property. You can contact an attorney and draft the deed from him/her. You will then have to notarize it and record it at the county recorder's office. Feel free to ask if you have further queries. Sussane

Then, both of you can refinance the mortgage to add his name to the loan. Thanks
