My husban died abd I would like to add my children's name to the deed on my property to ensure it remains in the family and not in the hands of the nursing home.
Is there an existing mortgage on the house? If yes, then the proper and legal way to ensure the house remains in the family is with a Living Trust. It'll ensure your children receive Title to the home when you Pass.
