Welcome qwoodham,

It's just that you need to sign on a quitclaim deed thereby transferring a part of your share of interest to the friend.

Hi maryann,

It will be easier for me to give you a quitclaim deed form if you would have mentioned your state. However, you can get sample quitclaim deed forms in the given link:

Thanks.

If I sign someone on a quitclaim deed thereby transferring a part of my share of interest to that person does the lender report timeliness of payments to the 3 credit companies under both of our SS #s?

Hi PL!

Welcome to forums!

You are only adding a person to the property deed and not to the mortgage. If the mortgage is paid on time, then the person whose name is on the mortgage will find it reported in his credit report.

Feel free to ask if you have further queries.

Hi Ingrid,

You can sign a quitclaim deed and add your partner's name to the property deed. It will be better if you could contact an attorney and let him draft the deed for you.

Welcome speicherpauls,

You can ask your husband to sign a quit claim deed in order to add your name to the property deed.

Hi Guest!

Welcome to forums!

Your father's name should be mentioned as the grantor and your name and your father's name should be mentioned as the grantee in the deed, This will make you an owner of the property along with your father.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
