My father died in the war, my mother is living and filed an affidavit of heirship naming the six children. Can my mother file a new affidavit with the county to revoke the current affidavit of heirship

Hi crrledet,

I don't think it's possible to revoke the current affidavit of heirship. However, it will be a better idea to contact the county recorder's office in this regard and try to clarify the issue with them.
