i need to remove my husbands name from the deed to house. he is already off mortgage. i had a full assumption done. please advise asap, there is a child involved

Hello- A quit claim deed will do that. Talk to an attorney in your area to make sure it's done right.

He has to agree and sign but yes it can be done

or a title company can do this for you as well. They are usually cheaper than an attorney. You and your husband will have to both sign in front of a notary and then have it filed with the county.
