I want to quit claim my deed to my significant other of 15 years to avoid lien. he has nothing to do with the judgement. I was paying through an cc agency but had to stop because finances changed due to disability and couldnt pay my mortgage. The lawyers that issued judgement were not cooperative at all. I faxed info to them, they never responded (about a month ago) and then proceeded to freeze my checking account. I never had my day in court.

Hi dbruno,

If a judgment has been already issued against you, then it won't be a good option to transfer the property to someone else. If you do so, it will be considered as fraudulent and legal actions can be taken against you.
