Surface rights/mineral rights/ gas rights

The deed does not mention mineral or gas rights, nor can I find owners of these rights. Since I have been paying taxe on this land for 50 years are mineral and gas rights mine, or must I claim them.

You can contact an attorney and he would be able to let you know what you need to do in order to claim the rights. Thanks
