Thedore Guest	Posted: Thu May 12, 2011 10:03 pm    Post subject: add name to deed Like 0 Dislike 0 I purchased a house with my fiance ten years ago. We currently both live in the house. We both put up an equal amount of the down payment at the time of purchase. My name is on one of the mortgages and her name is on the other. At the time of closing my name was mistakenly left off the title. How can I add my name to the title now, and do I need any kind of documentation for this process. Thanks for your response.

Once your fiance does so, you will become one of the owners of the property.
