Property in family for 60 years. 4 family members name on deed and all have passed away. There kids or wife has not paid no taxes or want any thing to do with the property. My sister and I paid taxes so state does not take it. I want it in my name and have contacted all parties and they state do not want nothing to do with it and will not pay nothing on it.

Hi mkimble!

Welcome to forums!

You and your sister can file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office and get the property transferred in your names.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
