I bought a mobile home and land from individual as owner finance. I had all copies of contract notarized. Come to find out the land nor the mobile home are in his name! I have little over a year to finish payments. I do know the names of the people who own them, but I cannot find them. The taxes are also in my name and I pay them. What can I do. this man is pretty shady and I am not speaking to him as of this moment from another incident.

it might be wise to begin speaking with this "shady" man again to try to determine how he was able to deceive you. you need to do some additional digging in your town/county to determine who the real owner is. how the taxes could possibly be in your name when the property is not is something that's beyond my comprehension, i'm afraid.

you have a lot of work to do to determine how to deal with what was obviously a fraudulent transaction. you will be well-served by hiring yourself a lawyer.
