My mother had a will and living trust. She willed all property to me and was curious if this was con...I am selling her house and car after she died. One of the documents to sell the car stated the estate could not be worth more than $50,000. Her house is definitely more than that alone- say $100,000. But the car and other assets are under $50,000. Is the estate worth under $50,000 or over?

Hi Guest!

Welcome to forums!

You will have to check out the worth of her house and her other assets. In my opinion, before selling off the house and car, it would be better if you could consult an attorney and take his opinion in this regard. He will be the right person to let you know what steps you need to take.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
