Can you file a deed after death?

Like 0 Dislike 0 can a deed to a farm which was signed 21 years prior (1988) to the death of the farmer be filed within 16 hours of the farmer's death (2009) and be legal? There is a will that gives all the personal property and real estate to other family members and the will was dated 1993.

It would have been better if the property deed would have been filed before the grantor's death. I would suggest you to contact an attorney and take his opinion in this regard.
