My mother passed away and my father and I had her name removed from the grant deed and recorded my name on as joint tenants...After realizing a few things...I would like to remove my name of the deed..how do I go about this?

If you want to remove your name from the deed, you will have to sign over your share of the property to your father. You can sign a quit claim deed and transfer your property interest to your father. Once you record the deed, the property title will show only your father's name.

Like what? Why would you want your name removed from Title? Once you're off, you lose all rights to the property.
