A grant deed is used to transfer interest in real property. With this deed, the grantor promises that he has not conveyed the title of the property to anyone else before and the title does not have any lien attached to it.

Hi,

The Grant deed is mostly used for sell of the real property or transfer of the property. The grantor needs to sign the deed. Then the deed needs to be notarized. Then the notary public places a seal and marks the document accordingly to prove that it was appropriately signed and acknowledged.

Thanks,
Larry
