Who ever is on the mortgage will remain on the mortgage, regardless of who is on title, added or removed. You can add or remove parties from title, but not on the loan. you can only refinance or sell to remove/add a party. Be cautious and contact your lender, as transferring ownership can trigger the due on sale clause, calling your entire loan due. Good luck!

Hi Mikey,

The mortgage company may want the grantee to refinance the mortgage in his/her name.
