a friend gave to me a trailer house. she bought from her aunt pd in full. never had home transfered to her name. she gave me a copy of the original title but has sinse lost the original, but i had her sign papers saying they all gave up all rights to said property to me. but the home is still in her aunts name. i have all paper work showing and notrized that she paid the aunt in full ,but she never had transferd to her name. who should i contact to get home in my name, i have lots tied up in this place!!!! HELP!

Hi cathycaddell49,

Welcome to Mortgage fit,

If your friend's aunt is still alive then you should contact the aunt and ask her to sign the quitclaim deed to you...(make sure your friend is also present for the meeting) ....

If aunt is no more,then you need to contact the heirs of the aunt and explain them everything..If they are on the deed you need to request them for the transfer of the property to you through quitclaim deed...
