Hi JV,

Welcome to mortgage fit,

you need to file the will in the local court and then through the court orders all the property will be distributed among all the members (not only your father alone) mentioned in the will.

As far as filing a will is concerned, you are advised to contact an attorney and take his help in this regard.

Feel free to ask any further query if you have.....

Welcome JV,

As there is a will, then you and the other heirs need to get that probated. Once the probate is complete, the will needs to be recorded at the county recorder's office and you'll be able to get the property transferred in your name.
