My partner and I are domestic partners and have a house together. I took myself off the grant deed in order to do a refi using only her credit score and now I want to go back on the deed but do not know what box to to check on the pages of the new grant deed and how to hold title since we are domestic partners and want each other to have right of survivorship. The boxes which must be checked almost all say the same thing.

Hi bar,

You need to contact a real estate attorney and he or she will assist you in filling out the property deed in order to add your name to the deed.

Take care.
