Like 0 Dislike 0 M aunt passed away in 2008. She left no will and she only has 3 acres of land. I have paid the back taxes on the land. Which consist of 2006 to present. Is there away to avoid probate court and get the land deed in my name. I have read where people say file and affidavit of hearship but when looking at those it says non family can only feel them out. What can I do to avoid probate and get the land deed in my name?
