Like 0 Dislike 0 How do we go about legally obtaining it what forms to fill out is it a gift........... or as a rent to own.....or ......Help.. we stiil on his land but we just a a lot i don't know

I guess, your husband's father must have transferred the property with the help of a quitclaim deed. You'll have to notarize and record the property deed at the county recorder's office. This will make the deed valid. Thanks
