Life estate done 1-2003

If a life estate was done in 1-2003, mother went into nursing home 10-2007,
died, may 1, 2011, can there still be a merp claim against the estate? There is nothing else except $574. in checking acct.

You need to contact a real estate attorney in this regard and discuss the whole matter with him. The attorney will better guide you in this regard.
