My dad has land and he is giving me a pc of the land. Can I put a mobile home on the land if he is just letting me put my home there. But the land will not be in my name

Hi kenny06sryia!

Welcome to forums!

If your father agrees to it, then you'll be able to put the mobile home on that land. However, you may not be able to fix the mobile home permanently on the land. In that case, it may not be possible for you to get a conventional mobile home. You may have to go for a personal property loan to buy the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
