The property was once a mobile home. The axel has been removed and put on a permanant foundation but the appraiser said it is still a mobile home without actually looking at the property. How can that be?

Hi kybleueyz!

Welcome to forums!

Though you have removed the axel of your mobile home and fixed it to the ground, it would still be considered as a mobile home home. If you want to change the property into a permanent home, then you need to contact your county court house and take the required steps.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
