my sister tricked my mom into adding her on her deed as survivor. i know my sister and know she will never do the right thing and split the property with me. is there any way my mom can remove her from the deed or add me as a survivor without my sister having to sign.?

Hi mellya!

Welcome to forums!

Your sister will have to sign a quit claim deed and remove her name from the property deed. Unless she does so, she will remain one of the owners of the property. As your mother is one of the owners of the property, she can sign a quit claim deed and add your name to the property deed as well which will make you one of the owners of the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

but does my sister have to sign or agree to this, understand she is very evil and would love nothing more than to leave me and my other two sisters high and dry when my mom passes, so she would never agree to this.
