Hi. My mom is doing a Quitclaim deed where she is the Grantor and my two siblings and myself are the Grantees. I was advised to include the language towards the end, after naming both of my siblings and myself,-
"joint tenants with rights of survivorship". Does that sound right? Does that mean my siblings and myself all reside in the property?? We dont live in the property!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Welcome flguy,

The clause is perfectly right. You and your siblings are joint tenants with right of survivorship. After the death of your mother or any other sibling, you and the other siblings will become the owner of the property. You and your siblings will have the rights to stay in the property.
