i bougth a piece of property about 20 yrs. ago but never put it in my name i have a deed but in other owners name

Hi debraperez!

Welcome to forums!

The other owner will have to sign a quitclaim deed and transfer the property to you. Once the other owner transfers the property to you, then you will become the owner of the property.
