Hi statcher,
It is quite surprising to know that you do not have the deed to the property for which you have paid the mortgage in full? Have you lost the property deed? You need to contact the county recorder's office and get a duplicate copy of the deed.

How long ago did you pay for it? Did the Escrow Company tell you when you'd receive your copy?
