The mortgage company approved the modification without a notarized signature from me. My ex-spouse and I are both on the mortgage. Is this an eligal transaction? What are my options?

As your ex-spouse has taken an illegal step, you can take legal actions against the person. I will suggest you to contact an attorney and take the required steps against that person. Thanks
