My father died 3 years in December. Wicked stepmother will not probate dads will and has till Dec when 3 yrs will be up. She being alive was left with dads things. Since she will not let us see the will nor probate we do not know dads wishes. So far we have recieved checks for his life insurance and IRA which she made sure we paid the taxes. What happens now? What if dad leaves us something and she can not account for it when she has to probate the will in Dec? Just confused as to what is the next steps. What to expect?

I would suggest you to contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this regard. He will be the best person to let you know what steps you need to take in this case.
