How to get the mother deed

Hi,

We bought the house, but unfortunately we did't tought bout the mother deed, know i want to go for houseing loan they are asking for the mother deed please advice me what is the way of getting the mother deed.

Are you referring to the original property deed as the 'mother deed'? How did you buy the property? How did the seller transfer the ownership to you? Did he/she not transfer the property title to you? Have you checked the date kept at the land records office? Who is listed there as the owner?

are you referring to the deed documents of seller who has sold property to you? if that is the case, it is of no use now.

Mother deed is a document to reffer the original owner of the property.
I bought the property with one land lader who sold the property to several people.

Also he has given the original mother deed to one person (who bought the property before me with him) but i don't know who is he where he is staying, now i want the copy of mother deed.
Can i take the copy from any government office?

Did you purchase the property from the person who owned it before you? Or did the original owner of the property sell it to you? How was the property transferred? Did the seller not sign over the ownership to you through any deed, a quitclaim or a warranty deed?

I'd like to know how the title was transferred. Was the title conveyed to you through a quitclaim or a warranty deed? If it was conveyed through such a deed, was it validated through notarization? Was it recorded with the county recorder's office?

there should be a deed along with your paper when you bought your house. and the court house has copys of your deed to your property.
