Hello Chang

Welcome to Forum,

If your husband is on the title have him sign a quit claim document to give you all interest in the property. Then, you will need to refinance the home in you and your new husbands' name. First seek an attorney to get your quit claim done. Then one of the mortgage brokers here can help you with your refinance.

thanks,

Your best bet is to do a grant deed with you and your ex as grantors. Your grantor name is as it appears on the title (your maiden name). The grantee would be you in your current name.

As Jeanette said, you may have to refinance the property to get your ex off the mortgage note.

Tou will need to get your ex to sign a quit claim, depending of the nature of the deeds and how far he is willing to push for it this may involve providing him with his finantial share of the house through re finance. after that it is a case of getting your husband added. It is best to consult an attorney thoughout this process. Good Luck.
