I want to be removed from a home title and also the mortgage.

If the lender will agree and other signee on the mortgage agrees also, what do I need to do?

Unless the mortgage is at an extremely low rate, just have the other borrower on the loan refinance it solely into their name. Rates are low right now and it may benefit the other borrower to lock in a lower rate if it is available. I hope this helps...

Yes that would be correct just get the main borrowed to refi in just there name and you will be removed. And the rates are very low right now and you can lock a really low one in right now if you have pretty good credit.

You can call the servicer on the mortgage now and ask for a loan modification. Some servicers will do this at no cost to the client. Technically it is a refinance. The other mortgager on the note will have to qualify for the mortgage on their own. That is the key factor.

Hi

You can sign over your share in the property through a quitclaim deed. This will remove your name fom the title. But you'll still be responsible for the loan. To remove yourself from the loan, your co-signee needs to refinance the loan in his/her name.
