I am selling my home and my mother is on the title, what forms do I need to remove her name from the title before I sell the home?

You can't do anything without your mom's permission because she is the owner of the property. If she agree to sign a quite claim deed then it will be possible to name off her from property deed.

Thanks.

Hi beazch!

Welcome to forums!

Your mother will have to transfer the property to you. She can do this by signing a quitclaim deed. Once the deed is signed, you'll have to notarize and record it at the county recorder's office. Once this is done, you would become the owner of the property and then you can sell it off.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
