Deed still in my name after 3 years. What are the steps to remove my name? Mortgage was included, top heavy mortgage. I'm trying to buy properly priced house, credit is good.

Do you still live in the property? The home was included in the BK and you are no longer living there and your name is still on title? I am confused on your question. If the home was sold, in any way, foreclosure, or regular sale, title gets transferred. Need more information from you.

Hi Guest,

If there is a co-owner of the property, then you can transfer the property to that co-owner by signing a quitclaim deed. This will help you in removing your name from the property deed.

Thanks
