How do i remove my deceased husbands name off the deed and add mij childrens name to the deed

Hi sandra,

Did your husband leave back a will? If yes, then you will have to probate the will. Once the probate is complete, the property would be divided as per the will. If there is no will, then you will have to file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office and transfer the property in your name. Then you can sign a quitclaim deed and add your children to the property deed.
