I am 62 and my wife is 55. We are interested in getting a reverse mortgage, however bot parties have to be 62 or older. Wy wife suggested removing her name from the deed to do this. Can we use a deed of trust?

Hi jotran!

Welcome to forums!

Your wife can sign a quitclaim deed in your name and transfer her share of the property to you. This will make you the sole owner of the property and you can apply for a reverse mortgage.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
