Can I remove my name on a house that my ex-wife and I brought when we were married. My ex now uses the house as a group home (plantation)in broard county florida and pays for it , I have no access to it but the house I beleive is going to be foreclosed if no payment is made. Since my name was on it they keep calling me when they can't get to my ex. also I pay child support and the children and there mother live at another house that we had. msp57h

Hi msp,

You sign a quit claim deed in favor of your ex-wife and remove your name from the title of the property. Your ex-wife can, then, record the deed at the county recorder's office and become the sole owner of the property.

Thanks
