Ground floor is in my mothers name.We live at 1 floor,that too is in my husbands brothers name .i just want to ask a question how can this property transfer in my familys name? _________________ Need help choosing the right loan? Your mother-in-law and your husband's elder brother will have to transfer the property in your husband's name. They can sign a quitclaim deed and transfer it to your husband. Then your husband can notarize and record the deed at the county recorder's office. Feel free to ask if you've further queries. Sussane
