removing name & property insurance

my husband left our home and is tryin to sell it while i still live there. i have moved out but dont want any connections with the house. the mortgage is in his name but the deed has both of us listed and the homeowners insurance policy is in my name what should i do to cut all ties to the house?

welcome to mortgagefit,
Just go to your county's office and then sign a quitclaim deed on your husbands name.Once the whole property is transferred to his name,then contact the homeowner's insurance company and ask them to stop billing you.
Nextly inform about this move to your local water as well as electricity dept by sending them e-mail or letter through courier for removing your name from their records.
I hope this whole process will not take more than 1 month to complete.
